[MD] Capitalism: my experience

hi gav

i use that metaphorically of course. there is no "my" self. maybe
better to say it is essential to work. period. just work. and by that
i don't mean shoveling coal for a penny a pound. i mean mindfulness.
just work. then, it doesn't really matter if you are working for the
'man' or for the person you see in the mirror every day.

i like a roof over my head... keeps the rain off my stuff plus i have
these routines. you know, like sleeping, eating, crapping, other such
human nonsense, and i'd rather do it inside than in the weeds.

so i bought a house. cash money. worked for it. every dollar. now i
have to pay the county every year to keep them from taking it away
from me. they call it property taxes. if i don't pay, the county sells
the taxes to someone who will. and gives the house to them.

now i ask you: ain't that some shit?

anyway, good chatting at you.
