Since you've read the original you know that it can be a chore to get
through.  After Zen and the Brain he published two other books which are
both kind of updates and to a certain extent dumb-downed versions of the
original. I bought all three at the same time. I started the original and a
short way in switched to the later ones and finished them before returning
to Zen so I kind of think of them as one book (original and two updates)
Sorry to confuse.
