Of course, it doesn't. Nor could it.  Values are determined by humans.  If YOU reduce ALL values to money, 
that's a comment on you, not on capitalism. Capitalism is not concerned with ALL values, 
rather economic values (thru its pricing mechanism). 

For instance, suppose if you go into a store & one brand of widget sells for $20 & another for $10 . 
The price is determined by the people who buy widgets.  If you want the best widget, you buy the $20 one. 
If you think there's not much difference, you buy the cost-effective $10 one. 
The pricing mechanism is not perfect, but it's the only one that even attempts to guide rational choice. 

Of course, if you don't care about  rational choice, there is the possibility of joining with others in a 
different economic system.  Good luck with that.
