Arlo needs to be reminded that Pirsig condemned the academy in whole 
in saying, "It is my opinion university faculty people are not very nice. 
They grade people every quarter, every year. That temperament 
develops. You know when you talk to them they are judging you. And 
their judgement is usually harsh."  Fits Arlo to a T. 

Also note Arlo's nonsensical capitalization of Academy, indicating (in his 
mind) its superior social status.
