Quite simple Platt.

Up with disagreement say we all. And even up with measured amounts of
lying, bullshit, misrepresentation and distortion ... in the name of
fiction, rhetoric, irony, fun, spice and variety. Honest lying, to
quote your mate Henry Frankfurter.

But down with persistent lying, bullshit, misrepresentation,
distortion and generally dishonest argumentation. Any social
organization, like a discussion group needs to draw such a line. Take
the medicine Bo, your ego will survive to argue another day. As Horse
clearly said, it's not you we want to lose, just the lying.

The Jester (that's you Platt, The Old Plant) is the one and only fool
to which the rule is allowed not to apply, otherwise you'd be ahead of
Bo in the queue. Hang on to the thorny crown, that's how we can tell
it's you.
