Interesting Matt ... responding to Ron, you used the idea of Horse as
"benevolent dictator".

This is exactly what I meant by saying things like ... the time for
fair and balanced debate was over .... drawing a line .... an
executive decision .... since when was moderation a democracy, etc ...

A decision to be supported by the very existence of a community with a
moderator. The time for debate was the 8 years before (and no doubt
the 8 years after) such an executive decision.

I'd like to come back on the propagandizing aspect ... the meme
spreading whilst being debated (dishonestly) .... but fear I will not
have time the next day or two.
