Knowing what the levels are is holding them in a static pattern. I
advocate creating them on the fly to meet the dynamic situation. I
should be more explicit: the four levels Pirsig defined will not
always be the most useful stack, even when dealing with our own
reality. They don't have to be four in number. They need only be a
useful stack of pieces sliced from the value evolution continuum.

More on that later; I'm still not complete in my understanding of
Pirsig's levels. I'm only sure that they are not the last word on
slicing the value continuum.
