Levels are Patterns of Value, not sets of 'like' things or ideas, etc. Big,
big difference.

Platt had said mentioned Pirsig's comment about the MOQ being a Copernican
revolution and I asked him if Copernicus created a new "level" the way Bo feels
Pirsig created a new "level".
No, of course not. The comment was about an expansion of rationality, an
improved view, a better or larger understanding of experience. Not about a "new
level of reality" or some such nonsense that Bo keeps harping about.
In the same vein, Pirsig compared the MOQ's relation to SOM as "Polar to
Cartesian" mapping systems. Not a new "level" of reality designed to make
Cartesian mapping work correctly.
