Bodvar:
I can only counter: How does the MOQ account for the 1st. level being
inorganic value ...etc upwards. All levels are patterns of value and this
cannot be accounted for, but starts with the Quality=Reality postulate.
We usually must start at square one with newbies, but with a veteran
like Ron and John ..phew.

Ron:
"All levels are patterns of value and this
cannot be accounted for"
Why can it not be accounted for? If this is the version of the MoQ
you claim works where Pirsigs fails, then you damn well had better
account for it.
Again please explain how values emerge out of a valueless S/O intellectual level.

You disagree with Pirsigs square one, please square your square one with
value  something s/o intellect deems subjective nonsense
and left back in the biological and social levels. The s/o intellectual level
"rides" (your own words) social level values and biological values.
If you mean DQ/SQ applies to intellectual values, you insist the intellectual
level is the value of s/o. .

John adds:

> how does life emerge from matter?

Bodvar:
The MOQ only says that DQ was the "midwife" and as such it
combines creationism and Darwinism. Wouldn't it be an idea to read
the f..ing  "manual"?

Ron:
Sounds like Bodvar doesent have a "f..ing" clue and resorts to references
to a manual he says is "f..ing" wrong. This is why we are asking for "f..ing"
explainations ...Bodvar, but you don't seem to have "f..ing" any.

John:
> how does intellect emerge from groups?

Bodvar:
It emerges from the SOCIAL LEVEL, nothing about groups. and its
emergence is told in ZAMM.

John:
> how do higher patterns emerge from lower?

Bodvar:
If you ask for a "scientific" explanation you ask for an intellectual (level)
explanation and THAT would not be a MOQ explanation.

Ron:
What kind of an explaination is a MoQ explaination .
