But what difference would it make to me? Some words on a screen would no
longer appear before my eyes. Likewise, mine to you. What happens to my MD
subscription after I'm gone? How long till you figure out why I'm not
posting anymore?
with me, it's not so complicated. My wife also posts here. I find that
weirdly comforting.
But there's an interesting article in this month's Wired about services out
there that take care of you online identities when your wetware becomes
obsolete. But the author of the article had an even cooler idea, rather
than notifying online friends of your demise, he suggested an algorithm to
imitate one's continuance.
And then, subjectively speaking, we'd all live forever.
