You totally missed what I was meaning about no-tree, no-forest: no pattern.

Well this would be DQ. I get that. But as per the intellectual level, which is
what you were talking about, to that I said you are using one tree (SOM) to
define an entire forest (stable intellectual patterns of value). This is what I
meant when I pointed out the difference between saying the patient HAS cancer,
and the patient IS cancer.
