[MD] Downplaying Moderation ?

Did I blink and miss it, or do we not have a thread about the John
Stewart "Sanity" event on MD ?

I only ask, because the "Tea-Baggers" TV event seemed to get everyone
het-up and taking sides here on MD.

I reckon people prefer conflict and disagreement to agreement and moderation ?
Do we too habitually under-represent sanity on MD ?
