[MD] Is this the inadequacy of the MOQ?

Steve,
thanks.  I heard about this book lila's child, but unfortunately I don't
have access to it from my library!  So I decided to jump in this
discussion, perhaps a bit prematurely.

I think the interesting thing about this quote, especially in light of
the replies I just made, is that in this other situation there is some
judge of the battle, the supreme court!
