Platt has provided a fine example of what I was just saying. This is one of those moments where you ask yourself if this response constitutes a substantial engagement with the ideas. Or is it just a knife to the face? Is Platt interested in a fruitful discussion or is he just clinging desperately to his baby doll? 

I think the answer is obvious.
