Yes, we appear to be talking past each other. In my opinion, if MOQ wants
to claim that a theistic belief by an individual is wrong, then it appears
to be based on methods involving antagonism. If you believe this is the
correct format to present MOQ to the world, that is entirely up to you. It
may be of interest to atheists, or humanists simply because it attacks
theism (and they have their own agenda), but this is not a rational approach
to saying what it is. If theists state their belief is anti-MOQ it would be
the same baseless reasoning.

I was simply stating my opinion on the matter. Coercion by means of attack
seems a bit counter productive. It shuts the door to many by saying it is
one way or the other. Taking this position in a metaphysics provides no
further understanding, and side-tracks MOQ into something that it is not.
My position that theistic beliefs can be compatible with MOQ. My previous
posts explain how.

I am also in dislike of the political arm of the state of the Church. We
have no disagreement there. A personal discussion between an individual and
a priest is not in the realm of MOQ. It should not be used to attack
personal beliefs, but it can provide an alternative.

Thanks for the discussion Dan.

Regards,
Mark
