No, Metaphysics are of intellect, a uniquely human attribute. And since
intellect contains metaphysics, which contain definitions of intellect, we
can get into insurmountable bootstrap issues, unless we come at a definition
of intellect from an MoQ perspective and understanding.

John: Well first off, it's a bit unrealistic to treat a continuing point of
mine as if I'm riding roughshod over your objections, when it's all in the
same response, dan.
And second, anybody who first uses Hitler or QM in an argument, is already
looking like the loser (krimel rule) and
Third,
You don't like me clowning, and you don't like serious discussions about
metaphysics, and I'm starting to wonder at what you want from me, dan.
Emptiness just doesn't seem like that great of a thing to idealize here. If
we were all empty, you know what you'd have on your screen dan? Nothing.
So obviously, I get the point, you want me to go away, and MD get back to
its intended purpose. I'll consider it. You'll need more weight on your
opinion, but with Adrie alongside, I think you'll have to enough to push me
outta here. Again.
I seem to remember Steve writing a post or two, and then disappearing.

You joined a bit before me, when I joined it was MD. I remember vaguely
somebody suggesting I oughta join the lila squad, like it was a concurrent
option or something. Like, "you should join the lila squad, they really get
deep into this kind of discussion". Like those were the hard core, and our
group was more social and open.
I didn't stick around long, those days were hazy. John Carl Pryor is my
full legal name. I don't use it in my email identity because I don't want
to be googled haphazardly. But all this has been explained in the archives.
And steve wrote more than a post or two, and he also had dropped and
rejoined, I guess, from doing an archive search, I see.

No, not really. I think my antipathy with dmb has arisen more out of the
way he just deals with me, in every aspect of my expression and every
interaction we have.
That's all.

Admittedly, Dan. If dave had any real power or influence on opinion, then
I'd have been gone long ago. But I don't have to be banned, to be banned.
Either there is a reason to be with a group or there is not. Being made to
feel very unwelcome doesn't have to mean "banning", and it doesn't even take
a large majority for a person to be made to feel unwelcome. A very eloquent
minority can accomplish that goal.
dmb is eloquent, and he has high status in the Moq. His low opinion of me,
of course carries weight and my friend Steve is just as passionate about the
MoQ as I am. Do you have anybody you can talk about this stuff with Dan?
In real life?
However, like I said, my conflict with dave really transcends this problem
in my life. Obviously if there wasn't already tension and problems, the
opinion of some guy on the internet wouldn't have interfered . It was more
how he reacted when I told him the story, that made me realize that dmb is
my boon enemy, and there's nothing I can do about it because it's his
decision, not mine.

It's a mental - getting younger I'm talking about dan. But evidently you're
not an idealist so I don't know if I could make you understand. Age is in
your head, everybody knows that. The condition of a baby is not that
different from the condition of an old man. Death is just like pre-birth.
Aging is real, but its exactly like getting younger and your frame of mind
determines everything.
But hey, if you're frame of mind is "a bunch of crap". Why should I try and
argue you out of your pile of manure?
Have fun wallowing.

Good news! You won't have to suffer through any for quite a while!
Take care,
John
