[MD] Delayed Posting

Hi Folks

Some time back I informed everyone that there is a 10K limit in place on
posts coming through and asked you to be more proactive when editing
your replies. Any posts over 10K are pulled by the server and I have to
accept or reject various posts one at a time.

For the most part this request seems to have been heeded but there are
still a few who insist on adding a one line comment to an already large
post, sending it through and then getting annoyed when I reject it - as
if a 2 minute job of re-editing is such a chore.

There are also a small number of you who send the same post through
several times within a couple of hours because it hasn't appeared
immediately. This is extremely annoying and I generally just reject all
posts from that member. If a post doesn't come through immediately and
your reply looks as if it may have been intercepted for size reasons
then please be patient - I will pass it through if it has been properly
edited. However, I don't sit in front of my computer 24 hours a day but
I do check my email often and generally act on any MD posts that are
caught up by the server as soon as I can.

So would all of you out there in MD-land please pay a little more
attention to editing replies as I really don't want to start throwing
people off the list for poor editing - but that seems to be the only way
to get many of you to listen!
Obviously this doesn't apply to any of you who have made the effort to
edit your replies properly - I know who you are and generally just pass
your posts straight through anyway.

Cheers
