Again, not generally true.
It is only in special cases (like when my shoes pinch),
that I sense I am wearing clothing.
In any case, I am in contact with my clothing in virtue of wearing it,
whether or not I am sensing it at the moment.

This statement seems to undermine your position, since it suggests your
senses are not a good indicator of reality.
I guess what puzzles me is that it is so obvious that we are in
direct contact with reality so much of the time & in so many ways,
what is the motivation or advantage of denying it.
