Dmb, 

Sure, you supplied what you say but they were like random statements not related to anything in particular.  It was sort of like appealing to authority ( Schopenhauer, James, Kant, and Honderich) about nothing much.  Your writing style is more suited for The Onion than to philosophical discussion, even amongst amateurs.
