Dan:

It is an extreme example to be sure. Globalization means the end of
one way of living and the beginning of another. Those who understand
the ramifications stand to profit from it while those who don't will
end up working at Walmart. Not that working at Walmart is a bad
thing... mind you.

I am particularly interested in the direction publishing has taken
during the last ten years... been shopping for a Quality microphone to
start putting together my own pod casts and setting up a studio in one
of my under-utilized outbuildings. What are your thoughts on how the
industry is changing and how writers can better market themselves by
bypassing the old publishing companies?
