Hi Ham and all,
IMHO you have identified a metaphysics (beyond physics) with an ESSENCE
beyond EXISTENCE. If I describe EXISTENCE as logical reality in an
evolutionary framework, ESSENCE would stand apart from evolutionary logic.
Since I have no way of knowing the limits for ESSENCE, I accept its
existence on Faith. Faith is the substance of things to be hoped for, and
the evidence for things that appear not. Faith is powerful, and I
acknowledge its contributions to culture. On a list dedicated to MOQ I am
reluctant to go beyond Evolution, levels in existence, to Faith, Essence,
before the MOQ DQ/SQ is more fully explored logically. It is rather new,
and DQ is indefinable. For myself the reality of DQ is verifiable in
indefinable emotions like LOVE.
To propose a metaphysical order underlying moral behavior, I appeal to
EXISTENCE.
What, indefinable? Define Emotions! S/O, SOM. DQ/SQ, MOQ.
