[MD] Some Pirsigian words from Steve Jobs

When you're a carpenter making a beautiful chest of drawers, you're not
going to use a piece of plywood on the back, even though it faces the wall
and nobody will ever see it. You'll know it's there, so you're going to use
a beautiful piece of wood on the back. For you to sleep well at night, the
aesthetic, the quality, has to be carried all the way through.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't
be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's
thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner
voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and
intuition.

[ Of course, I loved hearing from Wozniak that Jobs was influenced by "Atlas
Shrugged" -
