Interesting because yesterday I stopped by my old MoQ friend Steve Marquis's
house, and we had a rousing discussion concerning emotions and DQ.  In that
discussion, I started out postulating your point, which is that DQ is
emotion.  Steve argued with me and we went round and round for a while.  I
don't know if he reached any conclusions, but I feel I sure did.  DQ might
not be emotional, but my personal response to it certainly is.  And since I
only have my emotional intelligence to judge by, I have to admit that I
can't go outside of that response in my analysis.  Deep down, whatever else
"rightness" is, its a feeling in my soul that I call "emotion".  But this
feeling I have, I have to construe as being *about something outside of my
feelings, eh?  So I can't relegate DQ to "whatever you feel" anymore than
"Quality is just in your head.*
