Healdsburg is lovely. One of my favorite drives is up through Alexander
Valley Road on a weekday morning with the sun shining on the dewy vineyards
and mists in the nooks and crannies of the hills. Nice place to visit but I
wouldn't want to shop there. Lu and I were meandering through the square
with Cassi my philosophette, and there was a sidewalk sale with some very
nice dresses hanging outside - half off and they were still $350. Sheesh.
And there was hardly any material to 'em.

Probably don't have much like that in Minot, North Dakota, where I'm soon
headed, but with a guaranteed wage of $140 an hour at least I'll be able to
afford 'em. My apologies to the rest of y'all, but I'm actually rooting for
the price of a barrel of oil to keep climbing. That's quite an oil boom
their experiencing up there. Now if I can just hold off till late spring
and get a bit acclimated.

Not that we don't have cold weather here too, tho. It almost didn't make it
to the mid-60's today! Brrrr....
