Hi John, Oh yes, there is always hope in any conversation, even with Platt.

But there is still the pragmatic need to weigh up the foreseeable
value in pursuing any one conversation amongst all the available
participations, based on the the experienced level of effort and
hopelessness (and trust) to date ;-)

I don't believe in equivocation when a choice becomes necessary.
Life's too short.
