Naturally I waited until AFTER the post to actually look up the definition
of metaphysics. Sigh. According to Merriam Webster, metaphysics is:
"a (1) : a division of philosophy that is concerned with the fundamental
nature of reality and being and that includes ontology, cosmology, and often
epistemology (2) : abstract philosophical studies : a study of what is
outside objective experience"
According to this, there IS a metaphysics of quality, since it is outside
objective experience. Your experience and my experience of the same thing
can, and usually is, totally different. That doesn't mean that each isn't
valid, though. I also have an absurd drive to discuss just about anything
philosophical, so here I am. <G>
