Yes, sometimes I do cherry-pick.  In this case your post seemed mainly statements from Ms. MacLane's book.  What was there for me to comment on other than she sounds like a nineteen-year-old girl?  But I admit that I do not know more of her writing than what you have presented here.  That's why I asked "Anything more?"
