Anyone read Ian McGilchrist 2009 "The Master and his Emissary - The
divided brain and the making of the western world" ?
Or have any view on his work ?

I'm only 1/3 through the first 1/2 of this tome, but it looks very
promising. Left / right brain - rational vs emotional "stereotyping"
explained - conceptual thinking independent of language .... music and
dance pre-dating language, metaphor all the way down .... and much
more.
(I think David Morey recommended it to me.)

Deeply researched - 535 references in Chapter 2 alone ! - but readable text.
