I was completely clear (several times) that using expressions of love
and respect as cover for rhetorical moves is NOT love or respect.
I'm not talking about your anecdote Arlo, I'm talking about the real thing.

Then, constructive criticisms have value.

And yes, my support for Steve was limited (again, as I said) - clearly
due to his honest grievance he engaged in the same behaviour as dmb,
to make his point. Two wrongs don't make a right, and only time will
tell if the message was in fact based on respect or if the message was
even received.
