Do we not understand that as soon as people go to characterizing the 
verbally-inferred attitudes of others toward them online and it goes to a 
quarrelsome, warlike mentality, all hope of resolution is lost? I've been 
online steadily since 1995 (and started in 1989), and have never seen a 
single battle like that won by either side. Only when one or both sides 
unilaterally declares peace.
