Exactly. Marsha is disputing the MOQ's central distinction against overwhelming textual evidence, against logic, and in opposition to every english dictionary. In order to maintain her ridiculously contradictory definition of static patterns (as ever-changing clouds of probability), she has to ignore and/or misconstrue both of Pirsig's books, his 2005 summary of the MOQ, Ant's textbook and dissertation on the MOQ, the comments Pirsig added for Dan's book and even the texts she brings to the table.
