Thanks Marsha,

Yes I am proud and have great hopes for this particular daughter that she
will continue in her studies along philosophical lines.  She's the one that
named her pink punk stuffed pig with the nose piercing "Robert Pierced-Pig"
and crashed the North American Philosophical Meeting in San Francisco with
me for her 16th birthday.  The world needs more chick philosophers, imo. :-)

Oh, and  I've never read The Jungle, the quote was hers, part of her paper
and I thought very apropos and made me interested in reading more by this
fascinating man - Sinclair.  I was fascinated to find he wrote, among other
things, The Gnome Mobile.
