I understand your allusion and it seems rude to be glib about people really
suffering and dying.  And yet, a nation's fertility  is formed of volcanic
soils. Stating that the experiences of volcanic changes  can be highly
disruptive to man's industrial patterns seems cold to me and yet, at the
same time, oddly reassuring.  The earth dances too.  We just need to learn
when to dip and not get our toes stepped upon.
