[MD] American Dream - Still Alive ?

No secret I'm a big lover of the USofA, but is the American Dream
still alive through a recession ? Has it changed ? Interesting BBC
view from across the pond.

An aspect missing in this report IMHO is the "frontier" element - it
may be a struggle to get ahead in current economic terms, as it is
anywhere. For me the US still has so much "free-space" to define your
own dream, and a mentality that values those freedoms.
