Marsha said to dmb:
What if I put it that reification (expanded definition) is a feature OF of Intellectual patterns?
dmb says:
Wow. It's like you actually WANT people to think you're hopelessly confused. Look, it's simple enough that a child could understand it. The idea can be expressed in a single sentence.
Reification is NOT a feature of concepts but rather a certain kind of misconception, a conceptual error, an abuse of concepts.
What's the difference between your view and mine? I am opposed to the abuse of concepts. You are opposed to concepts. I am opposed to the intellect's defect. You are opposed to the intellect. Your view of intellectual static quality is approximately the opposite of the MOQ's. Intellectual quality is as good as it gets, as far as static patterns go. It is subordinate to nothing except DQ, except the immediate flux of life, direct everyday experience.
Cancer is NOT a feature of the patient but rather a danger to the patient. The point is to save the patient, not to kill him. How can you fail to comprehend the difference? Seriously. How is that possible? I sincerely do not understand how anybody could be THAT confused. We're getting into Oliver Sacks territory here, something to be explained by a neurologist.
Or is it that you're just drunk all the time? WTF?
