Hi DMB and All,
As a person who sings in a Church Choir, I can assure you there is no
feeling of degeneracy from the people who are listening. I do not know if a
Roman Catholic society is outside mainstream religion.
As a matter of fact there is a feeling of support encouraging me to climb as
high as I dare, and it will be alright. Oddly enough that climbing does not
feel degenerate. Climbing above my vocal range limitations opens my eyes to
a reality of a higher level in activity. The last word about evolution has
not been spoken!
