We all have the freedom to act (or not act) within the limitations of our 
physical being.  Volitional acts are motivated by one's sense of value. 
Whether a particular action is moral or not is determined by both the 
actor's value system  and the mores of his/her society.

This Golden Rule, which Kant reformulated as his categorical imperative, is 
a morality concept based on social reciprocity.  Other moral systems have 
been adapted by various cultures throughout history.  Actually, it is man's 
role as the free agent of Value to discern "right" from "wrong" and "good" 
from "bad", independently of external authority.  This is why he is 
empowered with value-sensibility.

(Doesn't this make more sense than trying to fathom what "following DQ" 
really means?)
