[Steve]
But I think the terms free will, determinism, agency, structure,
dynamic, and static are "relatable," in the sense that we can compare
and contrast usages.

[Arlo]
I think its possible to compare theories of "free-will/determinism" to
theories of "agency/structure" (and to theories of dynamic/static),
sure, but when you ask how "agency" compares to "determinism" you're
missing the fundamental distinction between the aforementioned theories.
The only way to answer is to back up to the theories themselves and talk
about the "inter-dependent arising" of one theory versus the diametric
opposition of the others.

[Steve]
I take it that you see agency/structure as a more compatible conception
of freedom for the MOQ than free will/determinism.

[Arlo]
Yes, certainly.

[Steve]
Yes, I think that agency/structure fits well with the MOQ's
dynamic/static. Would you agree that free will/determinism does not fit
nearly so well?

[Arlo]
Yes, again.
