Hello Joe,

I should have included that Lila's statement was addressing the convention/static point-of-view concerning reality.  I like better the "not this, not that" perspective.  I am grateful when I have the presence of mind to remember.  

From Jay Garfield's quote on 'mirage', I love the statement by Candrakirti: "Conventional truth is false".  It represents what I suspected from a very young age, and why I've been so attracted to metaphysical questions.  "What is wrong with this picture???".  I would bet there was this underlying skepticism for RMP too when he was young.  And, yes, I "love it" that he valued indefinable DQ and definable sq in existence.
