Heh, heh, this is amusing, brings back memories.  I can only assume
that you also treat Quality like Some Thing, despite your readings on
the subject.  Tell me, are Quality and God going to do battle in the
heavens?  Is it like Armageddon?  I have no idea what you think "God"
is, but it must be in a righteous fight with Quality, right?  Ah yes,
Quality against Satan.  Kill those damn stupid Christians, they do not
know what is good for them!  They are following a false God, while
we... well we have Quality (but do not define it or a lightening bolt
will strike you)!  Go ahead and start a crusade, you will have many
followers.  Battle for and against that which you fabricate.  I will
watch and cheer you on.  Seriously.

Do you idolize the relationship you have (had?) with you parents?  Do
you idolize your relationship with food or sex?  Do you idolize your
relationship with What Is (Quality)?  Perhaps you do.  This is one
reason I steer clear of dogmatic Christians, with attitudes like
yours.  I have to assume you are a Fallen Christian by your vehemence.
Perhaps your relationship with the cosmos is that you are an accident,
produced by the God of Chance (where statisticians are the priests).
If so, I can see why you are bitter.  Believe me, there is nothing to
fight against, or to try to pull down, unless you yourself put it up
there.  So it's Andre and his friend Pirsig fighting against that
apparition in the sky.

One cannot treat Quality as something objective and separate from
yourself as you do.  If one has a relationship he calls God one cannot
do that either.  If you disrespect somebody's relationship with
something else, it points to a serious resentment of relationships on
your side.  Perhaps you think your relationship to this world is
better than others.  ("Dontcha want a girlfriend who is Hot like me?
Dontcha?").  Well, I am sure it makes you feel better about yourself
to be surrounded by ignorant idiots.  What does your flag look like?

God is no bearded man in the heavens and Quality is no omnipotent
force which guides us to "betterness".  Just like your appreciation of
a sunset is not something that you can grab at will from a shelf of
goodies.  It is not proper to create an alter and a prophet for
Quality.

I can suggest that you read the many mystics who have written on this.
 Since you seem so inclined, try the Christian mystics such as M.
Eckhart or J. Boehme.  If not, then read Tao te Ching (at least 6
translations) and meditate on it.  Or maybe the Diamond Sutra (any
translation you can get a hold of).  Better yet, read some of R. W.
Emerson's writings on Transcendentalism, that may be easier.  Perhaps
you will see Quality there.  But then again, perhaps not if you are
expecting some contact with the All Knowing.

But then, maybe your relationship with the cosmos is more advanced
than, say, Kant's or Descartes'.  If so, please smile down on us
humans.
