Hi MarshaV and all,
Imho Language is in turmoil. MOQ metaphysics defining reality is under
discussion. My view is that evolution cannot be conceptualized as SOM
creation. MOQ views evolution in terms of DQ/SQ structuring reality in
existence.
For example in metaphysics the word QUALITY moves from the first adjective
status in SOM to a noun status in MOQ. Levels in existence are the
metaphysics for conceptualizing evolution. Women, giving birth, have a more
intimate awareness in the existence of another than men, e.g. the baby. I
would not challenge the observation of Ms. Streep.
Evolution, defined as levels in existence, reexamines relationships. The
reality we are discussing, DQ/SQ metaphysics, treats concepts, male/female,
in an evolutionary framework. There is no doubt that women share sentience
with men and vice versa. They have different roles not metaphysics.
Women, being intimate in the creating of a new individual in their body,
emphasize intimacy, while men do not. Feelings as the start of intimacy are
much more present to women than men. The imagination that Ms. Street
exposes is certainly logical. I don't know that differences between men and
women are metaphysical since both are considered humans with differing
functions in reproduction.
