Marsha,

I tried to help LS by writing a Wikipedia article, but it evolved into a
book project... Skutvik was no longer sure whether he wants to
participate... well, actually he was sure he doesn't want to. Platt
helped by gathering references. Mary helped Bo by moderating the mailing
list. And she helped all of us, for that matter. Tim wanted to help
himself and everyone else, even after he reportedly did not succeed in
turning LS into a Howison discussion group. Pirsig really took the
mental bullet that was intended on all people who are like us, but he
recovered from insanity. And he sure had helpers too, such as Dusenberry.

(I got stuck reading Lila when I tried to check I remembered
Dusenberry's name right..)

So... uhh... so there. Have you heard the expression "thank you"? I
don't always use it, but quite often I do, I guess. I mean you don't
really want me to feel bad after helping you out, although just a
little. Right? You're possibly just fucking with me.

I never said I helped you a lot, and I didn't ask you how much I helped
you. I just thought it's normal to tell you something like that, because
I did that small thing because of you.
