Well said Marsha!  I know that some in this forum hate when I agree
with them, but you are spot on.  The manner in which Pirsig presents
MoQ is not by any means the only way to present it.  How others want
to present it they must find out for themselves.  Otherwise they are
just following static quality.

Sorry if my agreement somehow dimishes your standing in the forum.
