Yes you can, but the definition has no truth beyond the fact that it has 
been presumed. I would rather say, that the truthfulness of metaphysical 
assertions is arbitrary - they should always be judged on other grounds 
than truthfulness. For example, a metaphysical theory may be consistent 
or inconsistent, or symmetric or asymmetric, more inclusive or less 
inclusive, more elegant or less elegant, regardless of its truth value.
