Ham said to Ant, Mark, Andre, Tuukka, Dmb and All:

Mark's point voices my opinion that Pirsig's positioning of moral virtue above fundamental reality is what prevents the MoQ from achieving metaphysical status. ...

dmb says:
Hmmm. You've addressed me at the top, Ham, but when did you ever bother to "listen" to anything I've said? You haven't moved an inch toward understanding either of Pirsig's books in all the time you've been here, which is a number of years now. Would you like that if it were your book? Would you like it if somebody acted that way in your discussion group? It seems to me that your motives are out of sync with the purposes of moq-discuss, Ham. By paying so little attention to the thing we're here to talk about, you're being terribly inconsiderate to everybody else. Then there's the problem where you're just trying to sell your own metaphysics all the time, literally and figuratively. Taken together, I think it's safe to say that you are displaying outrageously selfish behavior. Disagreement can be lots of fun but based on your questions, I'd guess that you haven't even read the books. That's so uncool, so rude.
