1) 'include' is ambiguous here.
Compare "This history book includes World War I, World War II & 100 photographs".
The sense in which the history book includes World War I & World War II is not the sense in which
it includes the photographs.
The sense in which the MoQ includes biological patterns is the sense in which a history book
includes history, not photographs.
2), 3) & 4) 'involve', 'based' & 'encompasses' are weasel words.
Patterns are not dependent upon language, but they are not independent of it either.
The MoQ is part of the intellectual level.  Whether it is a single pattern or not depends on
how you look at it.
