That's right. Dan (to me) seemed to be suggesting that science wasn't good at all where he wrote:

"I think you've been talking to too many scientists." 

I've since learned otherwise about his intentions behind these words however..

Anyway, I mean, you're right, science has created some bad things, but science has also been a thing which has brought with it many high quality intellectual values too… I mean, all else being equal, a society which values science is better than one which doesn't. No?
