Hi Marsha,
You misunderstood my question.  I was not asking you for a philosophical interpretation of truth.  I understand that you don't want to discuss that.

I was asking you how you are using the word true.  You present the concept of the hypothetical.  You then describe this hypothetical as "not necessarily true".  My question is very simple.  How are you using the word true?  I think it is important for us to understand this.

You ask others what they mean about statements, and I am just doing the same thing you do.  All you have to do is define how you are using the word true.  No need to get philosophical or dismissive.
