Hi Marsha,
Thanks for the link.  The first rule in Magic is similar to its counterpart
in Alchemy.  Alchemy is a little more scientific in its practice.  One of
the rules of Wicca is that of "three".  That is, for magic of good
intention, one is rewarded three times.  For magic of bad intention, just
the opposite.  I am not sure how the good and bad mystic fits in with this
:-).

If you are interested in Magic, you may enjoy the book "The Magicians" and
its sequel "The Magician King", which just came out.  I found them to be
enjoyable fiction.  Often fiction is more acturate than fact.

As I have said many times, Intention (Quality) is everything.
