[Ian explains, well not really]
4th mail today ... the topic was Respect (not the existence of God)
[Ron]
? really, lets start with the title of the quote you posted
"on the ontological argument for god." Since Ontology is the study of what "is"
in large part the title indeed address the "existence" of the subject matter, it's
"being" so it is an arguement FOR the "being" of God. So I'm not off topic on
the topic of the quote...It asserts that via knowledge, getting to "know" a subject
matter, one may gain a greater sense of value of it, this is an MoQ topic and one
I concluded my post with, so thats not off topic.
So
It must have actually have to do with "respect", some how you think I'm dis-respecting you
in some manner, from what I can see, it must just be the fact that I respond to your post, you just
don't like me. Well, what do you say we try to do and just dont respond and like wise I will agree
to cease responding to your posts unless we are going to really hijack thread go into the typical
ridiculous "I don't like you" line and argue over the fact that you can't even scrap together a decent
explanation for your charge, much less the fact you display a profound lack of understanding of the
subject matter of what you posted.
